This README.TXT file is installed in your zMUD directory. If you skip reading it during installation, you should read it in your zMUD directory before running zMUD.

NOTE: There have been significant changes to the Automapper in this version. It is highly recommended that you Reconfigure your mapper before using it on your existing MUDs.
This is a Public release of zMUD, which means it should be very stable and have few bugs. For details on bug fixes and new features, consult the Version History on the www.zuggsoft.com site. If you encounter a bug with this version, email it to Zugg at zugg@zuggsoft.com or use the Feedback command in the Help menu of zMUD itself to send feedback.
If you have trouble with the zChat plugin program, you can disable it in the Plugins menu within zMUD, or delete the ZCHATAPI.DLL file to prevent it from loading on startup. You can also try deleting the ZCHATAFK.DLL file to turn off the global AFK (away from keyboard) detection done by zChat...this file has a know conflict with an older version of Netscape that overwrites the shared memory region and causes zChat to crash.
